Angela has an Honours BA in English and Cultural Studies from Trent University and has an assistant ECE certificate. She has a Certificate as a Registered Behaviour Technician and is currently working on an Applied Behaviour Analysis (Autism) post baccalaureate program through Capilano University.
Angela has worked with children and youth in Campbell River for over 6 years. She's worked in both childcare and preschool settings as a teacher, and supporting children with autism and complex needs. Angela has completed the Pride in Service Training for foster care and has been a foster mother to ten children ages 2 to 11. Angela's been at Coastal Behaviour Consulting for two years and is the Lead BI working with both children and youth as an Interventionist. She is also a mother of four wonderful daughters. She enjoys an active lifestyle, enjoys writing, walking and time with her family. Angela’s passion is her family and working with other families to have the best quality of life possible.
Meet Crystal, our manager and Behaviour Interventionist residing on Vancouver Island. With a background in mental heath, emotional regulation, and personal support work, Crystal is dedicated to making a positive impact on individuals' lives.
Armed with empathy and evidence-based interventions, she collaborates with diverse communities to foster meaningful behavioural changes. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, Crystal strives to create inclusive and supportive environments, enhancing the well-being of those she serves.
When not immersed in the world of behavior analysis, you can find Crystal exploring the stunning landscapes of Vancouver Island, fueling her inspiration for promoting positive transformations in every facet of life.
Andrea has been working with children and youth for over 10 years. Andrea has a degree in youth leadership, she is a certified Educational Assistant and Support Worker, and she has completed her training and has received her Registered Behaviour Technician Certificate. Andrea has had a wide range of experience from working as a youth leader overseas and Canada, to working with children of all ages by volunteering her time in various organizations. Andrea worked as an educational assistant in the private school system for almost 5 years. Andrea has always had a passion for advocating for children and providing support and a safe space for children and youth to grow. Her greatest passion is her family and raising her two children. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, singing, hiking, and weight lifting.
Audrey is a student at Thompson River’s University, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. She has her Early Childhood Education Assistant Certificate from North Island College, and has worked at a Childcare Centre as a one-on-one support worker for children with complex needs. In her free time Audrey enjoys traveling, writing, and spending time with her family.
Nicole is a MacEwan University graduate with a diploma in Child and Youth Care. She lived in Alberta before moving to Campbell River in 2024 to be close to family. She's worked with children and youth in various capacities for 7 years, including residential care and summer programs. Nicole loves living in BC, and enjoys exploring hiking trails, doing yoga, and hanging out with her cat. Understanding that every behaviour is a form of communication is foundational to her practice, as well as having boundless patience and kindness..
